How Good Are Low Calorie Diets?
The thought of eating is often a great comfort to many of us while the idea of eating to lose weight is like a pull. We do know, though, that the bodies that make up the fat around our vital organs are catastrophic. Fatty liver, for example, can lead to cancer while other organs, such as the heart, may suddenly die. Recent tests have confirmed that my pancreas is oily and that scares me as my sister recently died of pancreatic cancer.
Despite this the thought of losing weight is still shocking. To think that many obese people have to deal with the same problem is not helpful. It is a matter of life force and self-control but there is something that makes me want to rebel.

Low-calorie food stays in my fridge so I can avoid preparing such food myself. This is helpful as it is usually fun and takes very little adjustment. The question is how good they are over time.
