10 Ways To Organise Your Car

 We all know that between kids, shopping, work and the gym, keeping your car nice and clean is often a challenge. It doesn't have to be an impossible task if you put some or all of these ideas into practice.

Here are 10 things I do to keep my car clean, tidy and organized.

Net

I don't allow any messy, greasy food in the car, and I only eat fruit that won't get dirty. This rule applies to me and to other people.

I don't allow anyone to smoke in my car.

I also have some wet wipes in my cubicle to wipe my hands off the fruit. I then use the same damp cloth to clean the steering wheel, dashboard, gear lever, etc. It's called multi-tasking.

To keep your car smelling nice, leave a spare plastic bag of fabric softener under the car seat. The fragrance permeates the entire car and smells beautiful.

Clean up

I keep a few plastic bags in my cubicle to dispose of apple cores, scraps of paper, etc. This bag leaves my car every weekend or as soon as it's full, whichever comes first.

I also have a special plastic umbrella bag. There is nothing worse than a wet car smell from umbrellas.

I have a box in the trunk of my car to keep my shopping bags from moving. Inside the box I have a couple of cloth shopping bags.

Organized

I keep a notebook and pencil in the car mainly to write down when I fill up with gas, but I also take notes so I don't forget things. Like when I'm driving and I remember something I need to do, I quickly make a note of it at the traffic light.

When you fill up with gas, note the number of L's and then you can see when you should fill up next time. Now, if suddenly you don't have the same consumption, you should have the car checked at the next service.

I also like to carry a magazine in the car. When I'm waiting somewhere, I can use the time constructively to catch up on reading.
