Durian is a popular Asian fruit, with a deliciously sensible outer skin, and what many durian lovers describe as delicious on the inside. The fruit king finds high prices in an area known for its tropical fruits, but two clever students have now turned the often-disposed skin as an active source of energy.

It all started with a simple test shift laboratory test, by two middle school students. Using the remaining durian leaf, a small electric converter and imagination, the two students created a battery supported by a fruit skin frame.
