Time Management and Planning Tips

Planning saves the best time available. Take time one day a week and watch what comes your way. Are there any appointments to be made? Are there any birthdays, holidays, special activities, games and / or practices this week? Write down the things you need to keep in mind for the next week, mentally or mentally. Also, look ahead to the things to come. You do not want to wait until a week before something is going to take place for the upcoming special events. If you have a birthday party for someone who is three weeks away, you can add birthday arrangements this week. Now you can look ahead and arrange those things into your week this week. Even if you have just bought plates and streamers and candles for the upcoming birthday, you are a little ready. And it does not spend that much money at once. By looking forward to making simple planning, you are not leaving things at the last minute. This is something that those people who seem to be on top of things all the time do; they don’t leave things until the last minute and make sure they know what’s coming. They sit before the game.

You can use sophisticated date planning system, printable calendar pages, wall calendar, desk calendar, wallet calendar, etc., to do your own editing. To be honest, I just used a very simple system right now. All the appointments we need to make are listed on a single wall calendar. As soon as they are made or as soon as I know them, I write them on that calendar. I also have a home booklet (also known as a homeowner's notebook, family notebook and I'm sure in other words) where I do my planning. For 5 kids, my dh birthday and our anniversary and all the upcoming holidays, I need a place to store ideas, suggestions, and plans for what’s to come.

Time Management and Planning Tips

Since I am in home school and living at home, my days are not filled with extracurricular activities or meetings. I use a basic daily routine and try to follow that up as closely as possible. I have dedication, exercise, grooming, cleaning, cooking, food preparation, and schooling in my program. We do not follow this directly, in a dot, every day. It is a guide for our day. You may need something different. What works for me may not work well for you and vice versa. The program is a good idea for everyone no matter how busy or busy we are. If you are a busy person with a lot of meetings, the daily routine will probably not work for you. A day planner of some kind can be a great idea where you can write a pencil for your meetings and various appointments. Your weekly planning session may be longer than mine but it is still very important for both of us. However, be flexible in your approach. Remember that you are not a slave to your editor. It is there to serve you. If your time management plan does not work, fix it. I know I have said a lot in these few sections, but I feel they are important if we want to save our time and use it to the full.

5. Forgive yourself for the past, do not cling to past mistakes. How often do we waste time thinking about mistakes we made in the past? If you can learn from it, read it and stop. Not only do you release, now you are not wasting time by clinging to something you cannot change, you are not wasting time worrying about it.

6. Listen to audio books in the car. One thing I would like to do is have a cd player in the van (yes, a little later) and put it in audio books for all of us to listen to. Those of you who know, use that time in the car to listen to books that you would like to read or when the children are in the car, insert your family's favorite audio book and enjoy reading aloud from the family as you go down the street.

Top people, who do not waste time, have time to cook for other families, reach out to neighbors, etc., people who are not procrastinating. Procrastination is a waste of time, a robber of happiness and does not allow you to have peace of mind. Do whatever you used to postpone and you will feel better when you are done.

13. Reduce time spent watching TV. The television set is a time-lapse zapper. We use a device like the Tivo and we also monitor with an eagle eye that allows you to enter the house. With Tivo, we are able to watch our favorite program whenever we have time and skip all the ads.

14. If you need to call someone who is really talking, call if you know you may be able to get out of the phone immediately. An example would be, at meal time and at night. Also, if you do not need to talk to them directly, you can always call when they are away and leave a message on their answering machine.

15. Use your body clock. When do you produce the most? When do you produce less? Design things that require a lot of energy from you if you have a lot of energy. And the same goes for your little active day. I don't have much energy at night so I try not to do too much at the moment. That means I need to do more before that.

16 Thinking of your priorities, make a list of things you want to accomplish each day. Look over your goals each day and prioritize your list.

23. Boss! This is something we should be doing. If the mother does all the housework, she does not care enough. This does not mean that we should not work, but when we collect after everyone, we do everything with each meal, every part of the laundry, and so on. then we do it for ourselves. Two or more people can accomplish more than one.

24. Believe in yourself. We are many times more than that, we are our greatest enemy. I know you've heard this before, if you don't believe me, who's going to hear it?
